1h17 built for movement. Mr. Ours opens on UK Garage, tips over into Drum and Bass, then goes back for the broken edges of Glitch Hop. No dead air, and plenty of grinning behind the decks.
The concept
One format.
One hour.
One iced coffee.
Phat & Phurious FM was born from a simple conviction: underground bass music deserves a serious editorial space.
The signature format is the one-hour filmed guest mix. One artist, one selection, one camera. The aesthetic is borrowed from cà phê sữa đá, the Vietnamese iced milk coffee, drunk slowly over crushed ice. Slow. Dense. Intense.
We work with artists who operate outside mainstream circuits: independent producers, DJs from the French and European underground scene, collectives experimenting at the edges of the club and dancefloor.
Based in Montpellier, we're building a credible media outlet to cover festivals and give visibility to a scene that has long deserved it.

Phat & Phurious is not a promotional platform. It's an editorial space built around a conviction: the underground bass music scene is full of exceptional artists who simply lack structured visibility.
We invite artists to play because we believe in their work, not because they already have an audience. The one-hour filmed format gives them the space to develop a coherent selection, without the pressure of a radio format or short-form edit.
