The night comes back

It was 21 March, at Le Trabendo. A packed room, a night that ran until nearly 6am, and Habstrakt headlining a format he built on his own terms: the Lineage Tour, a run where he brings along artists from his scene rather than playing alone. We covered it in a live report straight after.

Five days ago, Habstrakt posted the full recording of his set on his YouTube channel. 1h22 of Parisian bass music captured in one of the most intimate venues in the capital.

What the live captures

Watching this set two months later, you hear it differently. The progression is clear: Habstrakt doesn't play to impress, he plays to take you somewhere. That dense low end, that way of layering sounds without ever crowding the space — on screen it hits just as hard as in the room.

The video quality is solid. The sound, the lighting, the dancefloor responding. It's the kind of live that makes you wish you'd been there, and makes you regret standing at the back if you were.
